Guitars in the LTD 1000 Series are designed to offer the tone, feel, looks and quality that working professional musicians require in an instrument. With the Viper-1000, the classically diabolical offset double-horn body shape of the Viper is spiced up via mahogany body with an exceptional quilted maple top, and a three-piece mahogany neck. This LTD Deluxe Viper model also includes top-tier components like Seymour Duncan passive pickups, splittable by a push-pull control. Other high-end components include a TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece, and LTD locking tuners.

The asymmetrically shaped body of the Viper is made from mahogany. The translucent Cherry finish gives the Viper a classic look.

Set-Thru Neck

The Set-Thru technique ensures great tone and sustain, having the combined advantages of the classic neck joining methods.

Ebony Fingerboard

The ebony fingerboard ensures a transparent, overtone-rich sound and is equipped with 24 XJ frets.

Hardware

The hardware consists of LTD locking tuners and a TonePros Tune-O-Matic bridge and tailpiece.

Fishman Fluence

The Fluence active humbuckers made by Fishman give you great tonal variety thanks to their hybrid coil Multi-voice system.

Controls

The typical controls inlcude volume and tone controls as well as a 3-way selector switch. Pull the tone knob to switch to the Fluence pickups second voice.
